I'm an AI engineer who learns by shipping. My main project, Al Moalem, is an LLM-powered tutor for spoken Arabic that I built from scratch: conversation memory, multi-provider model integration and evaluation, and real-time voice, on a production stack with payments. It's live with real learners and paying subscribers. As co-founder at The AI Masters I build AI agents with tool calling, LLM integrations and automations for clients, and I'm studying in the AI Engineers course at the Hebrew University. Before all this I was Chief Engineman on a navy patrol boat, which taught me to improvise and stay calm when systems break under pressure.
